The PA-S510X-0307-D compressor-based analyser gas cooler is a device used to cool the analyser gas in order to remove moisture and other components that may interfere with the analysis. It provides a stable outlet dew point, even at high ambient temperatures, and is often used in hazardous areas.

The principle of operation is similar to that of a refrigerator. A compressor compresses the refrigerant, which then cools the gas being analysed.
