The Polar-2 gas analyzer is a portable multi-component device equipped with sound and light signaling devices.
Structurally, the Polar-2 gas analyzer is made in a durable plastic case, on the front panel of which there is a display, a keyboard, alarm devices and a gas inlet fitting. Measurement information is displayed on a backlit LCD graphic display. The power supply of the gas analyzer can be carried out both from the built-in battery and from the AC mains. Sampling is performed using the built-in sampling pump.
The principle of operation of the gas analyzer is based on the use of a set of electrochemical and optical sensors for measuring the content of gas components of the analyzed sample.
Optionally, the device may include a telescopic probe for sampling, a printer for printing measurement results and a program for transferring measurement results to a personal computer.
Gas analyzers "Polar-2" are produced in four basic modifications: "Polar-2", "Polar-2 T", "Polar-2 Ex" and "Polar-2 Ex T", differing from each other in the temperature range of operation:
- modifications "Polar-2" and "Polar-2 Ex" - from 0 °С to 45 °С;
- modifications "Polar-2 T" and "Polar-2 Ex T" - from minus 40 °С to plus 45 °С;
and execution of the device in terms of explosion protection:
- modifications "Polar-2" and "Polar-2 T" - ordinary;
- modifications "Polar-2 Ex" and "Polar-2 Ex T" - explosion-proof.
Gas analyzers "Polar-2" are produced in several standard versions, which differ from each other in the list of components to be determined.
Notes:
- The execution of the device according to the list of components to be determined is agreed with each specific customer at the stage of placing an order, depending on the characteristics of its measuring tasks.
- During the operation of the gas analyzers during the service and verification of the devices at the manufacturer, it is possible to change the design of the gas analyzer by additional installation (dismantling) of measuring sensors.
