Portable multicomponent gas analyzer for setting up fuel-burning plants and optimizing gorenje process
Gas analyzers multicomponent "Polar-7" are designed for:
- measurements of the volume fraction of oxygen (O2), volume fraction or mass concentration
of carbon monoxide (CO), nitrogen oxide (NO), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), sulfur dioxide (SO2),
hydrogen sulfur (H2S) and hydrocarbons (CH) by methane (CH4) or propane (C3H8) in waste gases
from stationary and mobile sources of industrial emissions;
- measurements or determination by calculation of the volume fraction or mass
concentration of the amount of nitrogen oxides (NOX);
- measurements or determination by calculation of the volume fraction of carbon dioxide
- gas temperature measurements;
- measurements of the temperature of the air (ambient and incoming for gorenje);
- measurements of the pressure difference of gases;
- atmospheric pressure measurements;
- absolute pressure measurements.
The principle of operation of Polar-7 multicomponent gas analyzers:
- through measurement channels of O2, CO, NO, NO2, NOX, SO2 and H2S – electrochemical;
- through the measurement channels of CO2 and CH – optical infrared;
- through the channels of measuring the temperature of gases and air – thermoelectric;
- through the measurement channels of pressure difference, atmospheric pressure and absolute pressure – strain-resistant.
The sampling method is forced with the help of a built–in flow stimulator. Gas analyzers are automatic portable devices of continuous operation.
Structurally, gas analyzers are single-unit devices made in plastic rubberized housings. The gas analyzers are supplied with sampling and sample preparation tools for analysis: a sampling probe with a sampling hose, a dehumidifier, an external sample cleaning filter and an external sensor for measuring air temperature. On an additional order, the gas analyzers are supplied with: an external thermal printer for printing measurement results, an external probe for measuring air temperature, pressure tubes for determining the speed and volume flow rate of the gas flow and software for transmitting measurement results protocols to a personal computer.
- conversion of the output signals of the primary converters into the results of measurements of the content of the components to be determined and the parameters of the gas flow;
- comparison of the current measurement results with the set alarm thresholds and alarm output when they are exceeded;
- recording and storage of measurement results in internal non-volatile memory;
- digital display of the measurement results of the content of the components to be determined and the parameters of the gas flow on the graphical display of the gas analyzer;
- diagnostics of the gas analyzer hardware (battery charge, sampling pump performance, air temperature inside the housing, etc.);
- data exchange with external devices;
- control of the integrity of software program codes, tuning and calibration constants.
